Jonathan is our Materials Manager and Clinical Aide who has come to our clinic having 22 years of past experience in the Medical/Clinical and Secretarial field. He had attended college for 3 years, specializing in the nursing field in Mentor, Ohio. He has been working in the past as an Emergency Medical Technician, Phlebotomist, Certified Nursing Attendant, CPR Instructor, Central Service Technician and a Medical Unit Coordinator in local hospitals and clinics in the South Bay area.

Working in the hospital setting has given him experience and knowledge regarding infection control procedures. He plays an important role in making sure that all of our therapy materials we use are cleaned and disinfected properly after each use. He uses his organizational skills to organize our materials room and keep control of over 1,500 different therapy materials that can be used by the therapists in their sessions each day. He has had many years of experience working with children in the hospital and clinical settings.

As our Clinical Aide he assists our therapists and helps the children to work and learn together in their social groups. Children enjoy his style of interaction. Jonathon has an innate sense of how to work with the students and facilitate group behavior and goals. He is also active in learning about the different challenges our students’ face and optimum ways to facilitate communication during daily social exchanges.

All the therapists here find Jonathan very supportive both in terms of working within the groups and assisting in setting up requested rooms and materials for therapy. He is a valuable team member.
