Hello, my name is Lynne Alba, the founder of Children’s Speech Care Center, and Director of Clinical Services. I would like to personally welcome you to our website, and to our state-of-the-art clinic, located in Torrance, California.

Our clinic is dedicated to providing children (and adults) with the best, customized care and support possible concerning every aspect of Speech and Language pathology. We offer a wonderful learning environment for you, your children, and your family, and for over a decade we have been very successful in treating patients in the South Bay area.

We are the area’s largest private clinic, but we are also official providers for the California Regional Centers and are certified by the State of California to see children from the school system for speech and language difficulties.

We work with children and adults in such areas as Articulation and Phonology, Receptive and Expressive Language, Motor Speech Disorders (e.g., Dysarthria, Apraxia), Auditory Processing, Literacy Skills, Stuttering, Voice, Social Skills, and the communication problems resulting from Stroke and Brain Injury. We also specialize in children who are in the Autistic Spectrum.

With a highly trained, exceptionally caring staff offering over 50 years of combined experience across a wide variety of clinical issues, we are uniquely positioned to make differences in patients communication skills that benefit them for the rest of their lives.
